Garcia Soto y Asociados has been a family-owned business since 1967. The business was originally founded by Mrs. Cecilia Soto and specialized in assisting families with Immigration documents. In 1988 Cecilia Garcia, a licensed Attorney and an Official Court-Appointed Translator and Interpreter, took over and expanded the family business. Attorney Garcia was also past president of ATIPBC, the first official organization for Professional Translators and Interpreters in Baja California, for several terms. Attorney Garcia expanded Garcia Soto y Asociados handling of Immigration problems to representing clients with immigration issues both in the United States and in Mexico. The firm also represents clients with Family Law issues, provides Spanish/English Translation services and Interpretation of documents, Apostilles, and in helping clients negotiate the labyrinth of Mexicos laws and regulations. Attorney Garcia believes that, “as a family, we have been given the opportunity to help many generations of clients successfully complete immigration and regulatory documentation.
